Recently, the inaugural conference of the Intelligent Collaborative Office Working Committee under the Telecommunication Terminal Industry Forum Association (TAF) was held in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. As a significant milestone in China's intelligent collaborative office sector, the conference brought together key players across the industry chain. Wang Lijie, an official from the Equipment Division of the Information and Communications Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, attended the conference and congratulated the establishment of the Working Committee. Leveraging its deep technical expertise and industry influence, CVTE was elected as a Vice Chair Unit of the first committee. Prior to this, CVTE had already been actively involved in the development of TAF's industry standard system for intelligent collaborative office, driving high-quality development in the field.
Deepening Industrial Collaboration, Building a Standard Benchmark
The Intelligent Collaborative Office Working Committee was jointly initiated by leading organizations including the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), Huawei, Tencent, and CVTE. Its goal is to unite resources across the entire value chain – from display panels, audio/video peripherals, intelligent complete machines, cloud services, to applications – and to promote collaborative innovation and standard implementation within the industry chain. CVTE's election as a Vice Chair Unit reflects the industry's strong recognition of the company's comprehensive strength in interactive smart displays, meeting systems, and terminal technologies. It also marks a new phase for CVTE, evolving from "product leadership" to "standard leadership."
As a Vice Chair, CVTE will continue to deeply participate in the Working Committee's efforts to develop technical specifications and certification in core areas such as AI, security and reliability, and ultra-high-definition audio/video communications – helping to build an efficient, flexible, and secure collaborative office ecosystem.
Leading Multiple TAF Standards, Strengthening the Technology Moat
CVTE has long prioritized technical standardization and has accumulated extensive experience in standard development within the TAF framework. To date, the company has led or participated in the development of more than ten TAF group standards, covering key areas such as information security, mobile terminals, audio/video quality, generative AI personal information protection, and electronic displays.
Key TAF standards that CVTE has been actively involved in include:
-
"Technical Specification for Audio/Video Quality and Classification Evaluation of Meeting Systems and Terminals" (T/TAF 307-2025) – Promoting quantifiable and gradable audio/video experiences for meeting products.
-
"Technical Requirements and Test Methods for Electronic Display Terminal Devices with Communication Functions" (T/TAF 308-2025) – Establishing communication technical specifications for interactive smart displays.
-
"Generative AI Personal Information Protection Technical Requirements" series (T/TAF 268 series) – Laying a secure and compliant foundation for AI-powered collaborative office products.
The release and implementation of these standards fully demonstrate CVTE's technical depth and industry responsibility in areas such as smart terminals, audio/video processing, and AI security.
Partnering with Industry Leaders to Empower Digital and Intelligent Transformation Across Sectors
As a pioneer and leader in China's interactive smart display industry, CVTE's brands, including MAXHUB, are widely used in scenarios such as meetings, education, and healthcare. Co-founding the Working Committee alongside CAICT, Huawei, Tencent, and others, CVTE will fully leverage its industrial strengths in terminal displays, human-computer interaction, and system integration to promote large-scale deployment of "AI + collaborative office."
Looking ahead, CVTE will rely on the Working Committee platform to continue deepening joint standard research, technology co-creation, and ecosystem sharing with partners across the value chain – accelerating the construction of secure, intelligent, and efficient digital office infrastructure, and contributing CVTE's strength to the high-quality development of China's digital economy.
