Technology Exhibition: Showcasing Hardware Innovation Achievements
Over 30 special booths were featured, presenting a panoramic view of hardware innovation achievements across various business units. From core hardware R&D to innovative process upgrades, and from smart hardware applications to meticulous quality refinement – every achievement embodies the dedication and persistent exploration of the R&D teams.
At the “Zero Writing Height for Touch“ booth, colleagues experienced it firsthand: the stylus feels seamless, writing is smooth and fluid, offering an immersive experience comparable to pen and paper, significantly enhancing the touch interaction experience. The ”Video Fencing“ booth demonstrated impressive capabilities: by accurately detecting and calculating spatial depth and width, the system intelligently defines key areas of the field of view, effectively optimizing speaker tracking and smart panorama functions, greatly improving the device’s anti‑interference ability. Visitors watched live demonstrations and experienced the stability and efficiency of intelligent visual algorithms. The “Robotic Arm Auto‑Plugging“ booth drew a large crowd – leveraging cutting‑edge embodied intelligence technology, the robotic arm autonomously positioned and precisely operated, completing the entire plugging process fully automatically with smooth and coherent movements, vividly demonstrating the powerful real‑world application of artificial intelligence.
Technical Competitions: Passing on the Spirit of Craftsmanship and Diligence
Learning through competition, empowering through skills. The atmosphere at the hardware skills competition was vibrant and intense. The hardware soldering competition featured two tracks – professional and amateur – with participants focusing intently and operating with precision, showcasing their practical skills. The hardware knowledge challenge was both fun and engaging, with participants’ brains working at full speed, answering quickly and reinforcing their professional foundations through a quiz format. The Bluetooth speaker assembly experience area was very popular, with hands‑on guidance provided – even beginners could easily participate, assembling their own speakers, unlocking the secrets of hardware structure through enjoyable practice, gaining a strong sense of accomplishment, and fostering an atmosphere of learning, surpassing, and diligent improvement.
Technical Salons: Sparking Innovation Across Multiple Domains
Starting April 28, hardware technology sharing salons were also launched. Combining external industry expert sessions with experience exchanges across various hardware technology lines, multiple sector‑focused lectures addressed industry pain points and broke down technical challenges – sustaining the momentum of Technology Day and building a high‑quality platform for CVTErs in different roles to engage in deep learning and efficient communication.
Themed Catering: Warmth and Care Alongside Technology
A campus food festival was held concurrently with Hardware Technology Day, delighting CVTErs’ taste buds. Creative hardware‑themed cakes featured unique and thoughtful designs, accompanied by a variety of specialty snacks and delicate desserts. In addition, the CVTE Labor Union prepared exclusive gift packs, custom T‑shirts, and rehabilitation therapy experiences for hardware CVTErs – allowing them to enjoy delicious food, relax both body and mind, and feel the warmth of care while immersing themselves in technology and competition.
Endless Exploration, Lasting Craftsmanship; Pursuing Dreams, Boundless Growth
Looking ahead, the CVTE Labor Union will continue to focus on skills enhancement and personal growth, collaborating with various business units to consistently deliver high‑quality technical exchange and skills competition activities, building a platform for mutual learning and shared achievement – helping all CVTErs deepen their expertise, embrace innovation, and embark together on a new journey of high‑quality development.
Engaging with Universities: Building an Industry‑Academia‑Research Exchange Platform
This Hardware Technology Day was not only open to all CVTE employees but also actively embraced university partnerships, building a platform for industry‑academia‑research exchange. It attracted the participation of teachers and students from multiple universities, joining in the technology feast. On the day of the event, more than 60 teachers and students from Guangzhou University’s School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and School of Electronics and Information, as well as from South China University of Technology, gathered together to participate in a range of exciting activities alongside CVTErs. The activities comprised three main sections: product exhibition & knowledge competition, hands‑on experience, and interactive exchange – rich in content and diverse in format, drawing enthusiastic participation and engagement.
Product Exhibition & Knowledge Competition
During the product exhibition, teachers and students received “stamp collection cards“ and toured the exhibition area, listening to CVTE engineers‘ introductions to each hardware exhibit. These exhibits not only showcased CVTE’s innovative achievements in smart hardware R&D but also reflected the team‘s dedication to craftsmanship in technology implementation and product realization. Through in‑depth explanations of the creative concepts and practical application value of the exhibits, participants gained a deeper understanding of and interest in the smart hardware industry. Participants could also exchange collected stickers for gifts, adding a sense of fun and achievement. A knowledge competition area was also set up, where students eagerly tested the solidity of their academic knowledge, deepening their understanding through competition and gaining growth through interaction.
Hands‑On Assembly Experience
For the hands‑on experience, CVTE prepared a “Bluetooth Speaker Assembly” activity. Students found the activity both highly engaging and highly hands‑on, providing a valuable opportunity to transform theoretical knowledge into practical results. During the process, they easily assembled their own Bluetooth speakers, fully demonstrating their solid professional foundation and strong hands‑on interest. Additionally, students who participated in the soldering segment received exclusive hardware souvenirs, further enhancing their sense of involvement and belonging.
Interactive Exchange Zone
To promote deeper interaction between alumni resources and university teachers and students, CVTE specially set up an interactive exchange zone. In the final segment of the event, teachers and students engaged in lively discussions with CVTE alumni on topics such as ”building professional competencies,“ ”future career directions,“ and ”job selection and development paths.“ Alumni shared workplace experiences and industry insights based on their own career journeys, offering valuable career development advice to the participants and bringing the company closer to university students.
CVTE continues to strengthen its connections and interactions with universities, proactively building platforms to foster the development and exchange of technical talent. Moving forward, CVTE will further deepen university‑corporate collaboration, gather diverse wisdom, jointly explore new directions for smart technology development, and build an even more influential and appealing employer brand. We look forward to more aspiring young talents joining CVTE to co‑create the blueprint for an intelligent future.
